We do not re-home puppies to people who work, even part time. Someone needs to be around for most of the day.

We can re-home the dogs outside of the Kent area so long as we can arrange a home check in your area.· We do not deliver the dogs, so you have to be prepared to travel to Kent to meet to dog and then after if your home check is successful to collect the dog.

If for whatever reason you are unable to keep the dog, then it must be returned to KGR.· This will be your responsibility and you will have to make arrangements for the dog to be transported to our kennels near Ashford in Kent or to a foster home in Kent.

Whilst all our dogs are assessed prior to being re-homed and full information given to prospective adopters, we cannot guarantee the temperament or behaviour of the dog in its new home, especially in the first few months.

KGR ask for a minimum adoption donation of £150.00, which takes into consideration that the dog has been fully vet checked, kennelled, neutered (if warranted), vaccinated and micro-chipped, wormed and front-lined.

The donation cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Have you owned a greyhound or lurcher before? – If so when and where was he/she adopted from?
Did any of you previous dogs have behavioural issues and if so what were they and how did you deal with them?
Do you have a preference for age, sex and if so why?
Are you aware of the special responsibilities of owning a sighthound that may have been trained to chase?
Occupation and working hours of potential adopters
On average how many hours and when will the dog be left?
If the dog is destructive or barking when left – are you prepared to address these needs and work with the dog to overcome the problems?
If you're in rented accommodation do you have your landlords permission to have a dog?
Are your planning to move home in near future? To where?
What will you do with the dog when you are on holiday?
Do you have your own children or visiting children and if so, what are there ages?
