Pepper is a very placid 3 year old greyhound who is looking for home where he can have nice walks and plenty of time to relax. Being a younger hound he needs more exercise than 2 x 20 minutes a day, but this could be achieved simply by having longer walks at the weekend. The photo is Pepper (the brindle one) and his friend Carmen at the street collection in Ashford. You can tell from the photo that he is a lazy lump as he spent most of the day chilling on the blanket instead of working the crowds, leaving us humans to do all the hard work.
Pepper is good with other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog, if someone was around for quite a lot of the day. Pepper would prefer an adult only household, or a family with older children as he can be a little clumsy and young children may get in the way.
Pepper is very responsive to commands but doesn't really know what is expected of him. He gives you a very sweet but very blank look if you ask him to do anything, and he would benefit from training so he understands what you are asking him to do. Pepper cannot live with cats.
