Amir is yet another lurcher dumped in Ireland who will make a fantastic family dog - lurchers are placid dogs who in general need more exercise than greyhounds but who are still laid back and loving. Amir is only young and was originally bought from the dog pound by a man who wanted to hunt with him. Amir wouldn't oblige so the owner returned him to the dog pound where thankfully he was reserved to a local rescue.
