- Active Home Needed
Ronnie is a very gentle dog who loves being around people and other dogs. He is so very pretty and he has a soft beautiful nature to match his looks. Ronnie is looking for active owners who will enjoy walking him - he loves other dogs and can live with them or he can be an only dog. Here is what his foster mum has to say about him.
Ronnie has settled in to our home incredibly quickly and is easy going and laid back but enjoys a walk too.
Ronnie is a very gentle dog who loves being around people. He needs a coupe of minutes to assess new people but once he knows you’re Ok, he’s very affectionate. He’s not overly needy but does like to know where you are; if we’re in the kitchen, he’s happy to be in the playroom next to it, if we move to the living room, he’ll lie in the hallway. He would be happiest with owners that are around a lot.
He enjoys two 45 minute walks a day, one in the morning, one in the evening and walks well on the pavement next to busy roads and also on the village roads where there are no pavements. He waits patiently when crossing a road. We currently walk him in areas where dogs have to be on-lead. After his walk, he likes to do some doggy yoga and stretch and then dozes on the sofa, keeping an eye open on the garden.
Ronnie has lovely table manners and doesn’t scavenge for food or jump up at the kitchen counters.
He sleeps downstairs on his own at night without any fuss and is impeccably clean and dry.
You do need to be around for most of the day, or have proven doggie day care solutions, if you would like to adopt Ronnie. He would benefit from training classes to learn recall so he can run around in the park with his doggie friends,
If you have children please read the relevant section on the website.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
