RipleyBack to Hounds Needing Homes
- 1 Year Old
- Active Home Needed
Ripley is a lovely young lurcher who is very affectionate. He does seem calmer than some of the lurchers although he will still have his silly moments and need plenty of exercise. Ripley was found with awful wounds to his neck - he was starved and very close to death. Thankfully he was found and taken to a rescue in Ireland, where he fully recovered before being transferred to KGR. Ripley has no hang ups about his previous life - amazingly he just adores people and other dogs. Ripley will benefit from training classes and lots of mental stimulation. He is looking for active owners who will enjoy being out and about with him. You do need to be around for most of the time - or have proven doggie day care solutions and/or other dogs.
There is a lovely video on facebook of Ripley having a snooze and a cuddle in the spring sunshire - just click on videos and look for a one posted early April.
If you have children please read our the relevant sections on the website. If you have children you and your children will need to attend training classes with your new dog.
Ripley has a pet passport.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
