The following post has been written by the wonderful Bella, who’s mum Elaine, is a KGR Volunteer Dog Walker. Bella and Elaine kindly fostered 9yr old Rodney, a.k.a ‘Rodders’, over the Easter weekend and here is what Bella had to say…

Dear Readers, for the past week my mum and I have been fostering an adorable 9 year old Lurcher called Rodney. When we collected him from the kennels, I was ecstatic when I first saw him and wanted to hug him forever. Rodney likes his ears rubbed and his forehead and chin being stroked. He enjoys walks around St Mary’s Island and we also took him to Capstone Farm Country Park and Riverside Country Park for adventures. He likes lying on the grass on a sunny day and playing with his toys. His toy octopus is his favourite. Rodney loves hugs and he’s really affectionate. He is a very good boy and wants lots of cuddles. He would make a wonderful pet and I hope he finds his forever home soon. My mum and I will miss him lots when he has to leave. We’ve had the best Easter with Rodney and he’ll always be in our hearts.
