Alfie is a wonderful young dog who is full of fun, very affectionate and a smashing boy.  He needs active owners who are prepared to commit their time to his training and excercise needs.  He is currently in a foster home in Medway with other dogs and he is great with them – although he wants to play all of the time.

You may view Alfie in December but we will probably not rehome him until after Christmas, unless you are having a quiet Christmas and you have the time to spend with him.  He has had a lot of distruption in his young life and he now needs stability and rotuine.

Alfie came to us as a puppy and was rehomed, but very sadly for him he has been let down by his previous owners and returned to us (after the dumped him at the dog pound).  Puppies and young dogs are very hard work and we stress this over and over before people adopt them – but, as with this case, if you don’t have the time for a puppy and don’t want to the commitment of dog training then you need to be looking at adopting an older dog.  It is very unfair to adopt a dog and then return him when the dog has done nothing wrong other than just being a puppy.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
