Beryl is a very sweet natured girl with spotty ears who have a live and a will of their own.  She is perfect in the home and has been housetrained from day 1 – she loves to play with her ball and she is starting to really enjoy affection.  Beryl is still a little nervous outdoors but this is just because she is not used to having a life and being around new sights and sounds. With confident owners she is fine and very trainable.  She is fine with all of our KGR volunteers who walk her and she was fine with her foster family.

Beryl is a young dog so she will need more attention than an older rescued greyhound – but she is fun, affectionate and playful.

Beryl has been living in a foster home for 6 weeks but she is now back at kennels (not because of anything she did) but this does mean she is housetrained and used to being in a home.

She has a pet passport.

Beryl is cat workable if you follow the guidance on cat and dog introductions.

If you have children please read our section on hounds and children.  Please note we do not rehome to families with both cats and young children.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
