Lucy is a very sweet, 1 year old, greyhound who has never raced. She is tiny – only about 20kgs and the size of a larger whippet. Lucy is only young and full of beans – she is not a lazy retired greyhound who will be happy to sleep all day. She wants to be busy and to have lots of fun. Lucy is very affectionate and loves a cuddle. She can be an only dog so long as you are prepared to put the hard work into settling her in, but please think about this carefully before applying. She would be better suited to living with other dogs – especially a male. Lucy is clever for a greyhound and very funny. You will never be bored with Lucy in your life.

Some of the younger greyhounds do need more exercise and they need to have someone around for most of the day, or to have doggie day care.

Lucy has a pet passpot. If you have children please read our section on children and dogs.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
