This is such a pretty dog. He is dark brindle in colour and although he is on the taller side, he is quite slight in build. He makes his foster mum laugh all day with his habit of carrying his toys around and hiding them in the oddest places. This is just an amazing dog and so easy to love.
Kat is just made to be a best friend and is very interested in staying close to his humans. He is happy to be left provided he has a canine friend. He would love to live with another dog.
Kat has all the behaviours of a dog that has just been shut away from the world and is worried about people he doesn’t know. This makes him shy away from humans he meets on walks. He is more fun to walk in quieter areas, when he really enjoys being out and about. He loves putting his nose on the ground and investigating all the smells. With a little bit of time and socialisation this is going to be a super dog. Wait …… he’s already a super dog.
He is cat workable – but you do have to follow our guidance and continue the training.
We are currently unable to rehome to all locations due to Covid restrictions – these change regularly so please read the latest here. Please do not apply unless we are able rehome in your area.
If you have children please read our page on children and dogs. We are unable to rehome to families with children under 10 as our dogs are not assessed and have rarely lived in a home before they arrive with us.
If you are interested in younger dogs (2 and under) please read our blog for more information.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
