Cassie (was Lassie)

Lassie is a small greyhound who will be 2 years old in December.  She is fabulous – she has found the sofa in her foster home and she loves it!  Lassie only did a few races before they gave up on her winning any money for them.

Like all young dogs, Lassie had little experience of life before arriving at KGR.  She needs owners who will be patience with her and give her space to come around in her own time and not when they expect her to do it.  If you stand back she will be fine – if you expect to much you will make her too nervous.  An adult household may be preferable for Lassie, this is more so if you do not have other dogs.

She is the cutest, happiest, funniest girl in her foster home.

Lassie is a lovely girl in the home – she is still young so she isn’t suitable for a family who will be at work all day.

Lassie has been cat tested – she is suitable to live with cats but please read our section on cat and dog training as you will have to follow the rules.

Lassie has a pet passport.

We are currently unable to rehome to all locations due to Covid restrictions – these change regularly so please read the latest here.  Please do not apply unless we are able rehome in your area.

If you have children please read our page on children and dogs.  We are unable to rehome to families with children under 10 as our dogs are not assessed and have rarely lived in a home before they arrive with us.

If you are interested in younger dogs (2 and under) please read our blog for more information.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
