Libby was rescued from the Dog Pound after being found wandering the streets, she is a blue/ black lurcher, she is very timid and will need an owner who has the time and patience to work with her. She has probably been badly treated in her short life and shys away initially from human contact, but gradually with time allows herself to be touched.  She has been in a foster home for 2 months and has improved a lot but they are sadly no longer able to keep her so she is back in kennels.

She would benefit from living with other dogs and will be ok with cats so long as you follow the cat and dog training guidelines. She can live with older children so long as they are calm and used to dogs.

Libby is very pretty – she doesn’t photograph very well.  She is a little bit bigger than a whippet and very sweet.  She is looking for a home with stability and routine – and lots of patience.  Once she bonds with you your effort will be rewarded 100x over with love.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
