Mason is just about to turn 2 years old and we believe he is a wheaten terrier cross hound.  Mason is a character, he has a strong side so will need a family who are active and strict with him as he will run rings around you. Mason enjoys the company of other dogs outside but not so much if he has to share his home with them, although an older female dog as a companion would suit Mason down to the ground – but what he really needs is a stable, consistent home with owners who will enjoy walking him and maybe take him to be agility, cannicross or similar.  Mason is 24 inches to top of his head.

Mason is incredibly affectionate – he just loves human cuddles and he really will get on your lap to snuggle up with you. The volunteers always really enjoy taking him out for a walk.

In the right home he will be a fantastic pet – he has lived in a home before and he is housetrained.  Mason would not want to live in a busy household with lots of other dogs – he loves humans and he loves his space.  He really enjoyed being in the pub with us, with all the other dogs and lots of people.

Mason has a pet passport.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
