Prince

  • In Foster In Canterbury
  • Deerhound x Lurcher
  • Male
  • 11 Years Old
  • Experienced Home Needed

Prince is just a huge cuddle monster – he cannot get enough of being loved – and he sweet, calm and very affectionate.

He has come to us from a very bad situation where he was uncared for and stressed.  Once settled in a normal home where he will have stability and routine, he will become a lovely boy.  But he does need quite tactile owners.

If you are looking to adopt Prince you will need to listen to our advice and follow our rules – we set them for everyones benefit and so Prince can settle and remain in his home.  He cannot live with children and he is a dog you will never be able to give soft toys to.

Prince has come out of a hoarding situation where he lived with many other dogs and had a pretty unhappy time.  He still has issues and he s a dog where you need to work around him – rather than expecting him to fit in with your life.

He has some sight difficulties which mean that care needs to be taken out and about meeting new people and other dogs.

Prince needs to have a quiet adult only home where he can have routine, stability and lots of tlc.  He would just love to be an only dog (he likes other dogs when he out on walks but he needs to have all of the focus on him after living with far too many dogs in his past life).

Prince may be 11 years old but he will still enjoy he walks.

Prince is a fabulous dog in the right home – but we stress you will need to run your live around him.  If you do this he will be happy, loving and sweet – just like he is in his foster home.  If you don’t follow the rules you will have problems and he will be returned to us.

Prince has a pet passport.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
