Princess Peach is a beautiful young girl, around 1 year old, who is an absolute… peach! She has a heart as sweet as her name and absolutely adores people. This affectionate girl is also proving to be quite bright and is learning some clever tricks from her foster family.

Peach is enjoying exploring her new world. She has met a variety of dogs during her adventures outdoors and has been making plenty of canine and human friends with her sweet nature!

As a young dog, Peach is still learning about the world and wants a family of her own who can help her grow into a confident adult. Her foster parents’ favourite thing is seeing her smiley face greet them at the front door, with lots of tippy-taps and butt wiggles. If your home is missing some happy butt wiggles, Peach might just be the girl for you!

When the excitement of the day is over, you’ll find Peach happily tucked up under a cosy blanket, catching up on her beauty sleep and dreaming of dinner or snuggles (her favourite things!).

Peach came into care after being found in a neglected condition and this is all we know about her past. She is a loving and lovely girl who just wants to be appreciate and adored. She would benefit from a home where someone is around for much of the day to provide guidance, reassurance and plenty of opportunities to learn.

Princess Peach has all the ingredients to become a wonderful companion: she’s affectionate, friendly, fun-loving and full of potential. All she needs now is the right family to help her continue her journey and give her the happy ending she deserves.

In the early days of adoption, it’s your responsibility to keep your new dog safe by keeping their world small and calm. Take things slowly and gently build up to more exciting experiences – too much, too soon can be overwhelming and may make the adoption harder.

Please remember to stay calm and relaxed throughout this settling-in period. If you feel anxious or stressed, your new dog is likely to feel the same.

Before applying to adopt, please read our FAQs and take a moment to familiarise yourself with the 3-3-3 rule. This is some of the best advice available to help a new dog settle successfully into their new home.

3 days – In the first three days, your dog may feel scared, anxious or overwhelmed. He may also test boundaries as he tries to understand his new environment.

3 weeks – After around three weeks, he should start to feel more settled and become familiar with his routine. This is often when his personality begins to shine through.

3 months – By three months, your new dog will truly understand that this is his home. He’ll feel relaxed, secure and trusting, and much more like himself.

When you submit an application form, you will receive an automated email straight away outlining the next steps. We’re unable to process applications until we receive a reply to this email, so please check your junk or spam folder. As we use an automation platform, emails can occasionally be rejected. If you don’t receive anything as soon as you press submit, please let us know so we can help.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
