Poppy Rocket is a small super friendly, happy lurcher who is around 1-2 years old.   She is about the size of a whippet and a very delicate pretty girl.  Poppy is currently living with another dog and cats in her foster home.

On the day she arived at KGR, Poppy had a fit.  The vet has done various test which have proved the fit was not caused by anything external i.e. her vaccination the previous day. Other than that we do not know what has caused it, but she has been in a foster home since mid March and she has shown no other signs of illness nor has she had another fit.  Once rehomed KGR will pay any medical bills associated with this condition – so please do not put the worry of vet bills put you off.

Rocket has come to us from the local dog warden so we know nothing of her history.

If you have children please read our section on children and hounds.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
