Poor Sol came into the dog pound in Ireland in a very sorry state. He was covered in fleas, even in his ears, had worms and was feeling very sorry for himself. He has now settled into kennels where he is pretty laid back but would love a forever home where he can have some TLC to show him life isn’t all bad.

Sol is a tall, elegant and well mannered greyhound – he thinks the whole world needs to love him as he has so much loving to give back.  He is a touch more lively than some of the greyhounds but still lazy.  Sol seems to be good with other dogs and he loves sausage rolls and generally loitering outside a bakers for example.  Sol will be a good, fun, easy dog to have – great for a first time or experienced owner.  He hasn’t raced much – he wasn’t very good!

If you have children please read our section on children and hounds.

Sol has a pet passport.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
