Sandy

Sandy is a young lurcher who has been with us for around 3 months although he is one dog we thought we would find a home for really quickly… Please take a closer look at this lovely boy!

Sandy is very sweet and very friendly and will make a lovely family pet. We think he is a lurcher x labrador, which are two greats types of dog. He is a clever boy and he would love to have an active family who will continue with his training and take him on nice long walks. He is very affectionate and gets on well with children and other dogs (although sometimes he can be timid with other dogs).

When you meet him at kennels he can be quite lively, but that is because he loves company! Once he is out and about he is much calmer and walks really well on the lead.

Update – 7/10/13  Sandy is now living in a foster home and is proving to be a smashing boy who enjoyed his walks but if also very lazy.  He is not your typical lurcher and prefers resting to be outdoors,

Sandy is a wonderful dog any family could wish for!
