Zuma is a really funny greyhound with a lovely nature.  He has lived in a home but he would not settle and we have no idea why, so he was returned to us.  He is now back in the same foster home where he lived before his actual home and he is back to being a really lovely, calm, settled dog who we struggle to keep awake at times.  If Zuma got any more chilled he would be a soft toy.  He is only young and when he wakes up for long enough he can very playful - he loves to chase and play ball with you.  He also loves to play with the other greyhounds and really enjoys running around with them. His favourite pastime is that old greyhound favourite - squirrel watching.  He has now taken to cat watching from the window (see video) - Zuma is quite random and really does do the funniest things - if you enjoy a dog making your laugh, then Zuma is the dog for you.

Zuma however needs a quiet home with lots of routine - whilst he is perfectly well behaved in his foster home if he gets worried he becomes a muppet.  We would therefore expect his new owners to spend time with him, getting to know him and walking him before the adopt him so the adoption is a smooth transition

Zuma is quite a simple dog - he loves his food, his treats, his toys and cuddles. He does loved to be cuddled and he adores human interaction, so he would like a new family when who are very affectionate with their pets. He is 3 in August so still very much a puppy at heart.  He only managed 3 trials in the racing industry and after coming 3rd, 4th and 5th he was dumped at the dog pound.

Zuma will not be homed with children.

Zuma has a pet passport.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
