Description

Our dogs have all had a pretty miserable past – locked away in kennels waiting for a rescue space.   This will be their first Christmas in a (foster) home while they wait for their forever home.  Last year we had a great success with our wonderful followers buying them presents, so we are doing it again this year – with the addition of “experiences”   you can choose between having our volunteer bake and present them with a Christmas cake or cheese biscuits, an hour at the enclosed hire field so they can have a good run, followed by 55 minutes of sniffing and mooching or speciality doggie lunch/snacks/ice cream in the pub.  We will video the experiences so you can see how your very kind donation has been used.  We also have presents that we will wrap up for the dogs for Christmas day.

The idea is that you buy a present from the list and we give it to one of our foster dogs.

You can name a dog if you would like your present or experience to go to – if you leave it black the presents will be evenly distributed between all of the dogs.

The cakes and biscuits will be baked fresh to order by our volunteers, using human grade ingredients.

The field will either be Gogway off Stone Street or Hugos Dog Field in Dunkirk.  The dogs love both for different reasons.

The pub – will depend on where we are – for example, The Parkgate Inn in Maidstone sells sausages and other humans snacks for the dogs – the others sell Sir Woofchesters snacks and ice cream.  Whichever pub it is, it will be after a nice long dog walk.
