Donating to KGR – it couldn’t be easier.   We are all volunteers (so no one at KGR receives any form of remuneration). All of the money donated helps KGR help more dogs.   We receive no money from the racing industry for our greyhounds and most of our lurchers come to us from the travelling community, via the dog pound so again we do not receive any form of donation from the previous owners.

Each dog has to be prepared to travel to the UK from Ireland (including a pet passport) – they have to be neutured, vaccinated including kennel cough, microchipped and have a flea and worm treatment.  Lots of dogs also require dental and other medical care on arrival.

If you pay tax please complete the gift aid form at the bottom of this page, we can then claim tax back on your donations.  The form can be filled in online and will be returned directly to us.

These are various ways of donating to us:

  • By Paypal

  • By cheque

Please post a cheque made payable to Kent Greyhound Rescue to the following address:

    The Treasurer,
    Kent Greyhound Rescue,
    New Pound Farm House,
    The Street,
    Newington,
    Kent CT18 8AU

If you Gift Aid your donation, Kent Greyhound Rescue will receive an additional 25p on every £1 you give.
