Did you know that when our dogs arrive at Kent Greyhound Rescue many of them have a European Pet Passport as they have come from Ireland? This means they can travel with you on holiday. How fabulous is that!
Here is a story of George, a greyhound rehomed by Kent Greyhound Rescue, having a wonderful tour across Europe with his family.
We are thinking he’s the most travelled greyhound we’ve ever homed! This year he’s spent his summer camping with his family in their camper van travelling around Europe. He has visited France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Greece.
All precautions were taken for the heat and George had a fantastic time and was as good as gold as usual, great with people, and all the other dogs he met. A fantastic advert for this fabulous breed of dog.
Greyhounds can be very adaptable and make the best companions.
