This day makes us think of our dreams.In 2024, our dream involves taking a significant step in our growth – establishing a larger head office and operations base. Our vision extends beyond conventional dog care, encompassing education, training, kennelling, and grooming. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, we aspire to extend our services to more dogs and their owners worldwide.
Since our establishment as a charity in 2008, our commitment has remained – we never give up on or abandon a dog. Over the past 15 years, we’ve experienced remarkable growth, evolving into one of the most successful rescue and rehoming organisations in the UK for sighthounds. Our primary focus revolves around greyhounds, lurchers, and other sighthounds, while occasionally extending our care to mongrels in need. Our dedication to the well-being of these animals continues to drive our success and impact in the realm of dog rescue.
Remaining rooted in Kent, our commitment to this picturesque ‘Garden of England’ county is reflected in our name, Kent Greyhound Rescue. However, as our organisation has expanded significantly, we are actively seeking larger premises to accommodate both our dedicated volunteers and the dogs we rescue. This move aims to enhance our capacity to provide even greater care and support for these animals in need.
