Comet is handsome friendly dog who is really enjoying living in his foster home.  He walks beautifully on the lead and has a really funny wiggle and wag when anyone approaches. He just loves attention and cannot get enough cuddles – you can see the disappointment in his face if people don’t stop to say hello.  He is a really happy boy.
In the house Comet is a typical lazy greyhound, and after a morning walk is happy to be left at home for the working day, with a break at lunchtime.  Then he loves nothing better than a good game of fetch the ball, before settling down for some more resting.  He is a sensible and confident dog with an occasional daft moment to ensure you remember he is there!  He can live with older children and at 4 years old he is plenty young enough to learn new games.
He currently lives with another male greyhound with whom he gets on with really well.  He has lived with greyhounds all of his life, however, and is still learning the best way to cope with greeting dogs he has never met before, so training classes will be a great help to him.  He could live with another dog, or be the only dog in a household.
