Bark the Herald is a happy boy who is looking for his new home. He has settled into his foster home really well, and he is loving his new life. He is housetrained and very good at living with other dogs.

Bark the Hearld is currently living in a foster home, but before that, he spent time in kennels, so some things may still worry or confuse him. He’ll need gentle introductions to everyday household items that could spook him and a bit of support as he adjusts to home life. With time, patience, and understanding, Parsnip will blossom into a wonderful companion ready to join you on your next adventure.
In this time it is your responsibility to keep your dog safe – keep his world small and gradually build up to the exciting times ahead. Too much too soon can make the adoption fail.
Please remember you have to stay calm throughout – if you get anxious or stressed you may make your dog anxious or stressed. Greyhounds are very sensitive and emotional and will pick up on your mood.
Please remember the 3-3-3 rule before applying to adopt. This is the best advice available to help a new dog settle into his new home.
3 days – in the first 3 days you dog will be scared, anxious and maybe overwhelmed. He may also try to test boundaries.
3 weeks – after 3 weeks he will start to feel settled and understand his routine. His personality may start to show though.
3 months – after 3 months your new dog will understand you are his home – he will be relaxed and trusting and
