Chief Warden Hodge is another one of our very happy, lovely and affectionate black boys who make super family pets. He is living in a foster home in Kent with other dogs and is just a really nice dog.
Please remember you need to follow the 3-3-3 rule when adopting a new dog.
The “3-3-3 rule” for dogs refers to a guideline stating that it typically takes a newly adopted dog:
3 days to decompress after the change in his environment and the stress of having a new home and new owners.
3 weeks to start learning routines and bonding with their new family.
3 months to finally settle in and feel comfortable in their new home.
When you submit an application form you will get an auto generated email straight back. This email outlines the next steps. We don’t process the applications until we receive your reply so please check your junk email. We use an automation platform to send emails, the email will be rejected. If you don’t receive anything from us as soon as you press submit – please let us know.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
