Millie is a very lovely, sweet greyhound who would love a home of her own.

Millie has certainly had a very tough time – when she arrived she needed an urgent dental her teeth were so appalling.  This was probably caused by the very poor diet she was given during her time as a racing greyhound.  Her teeth were so bad the vet could only extract them on one side of her mouth, before having to wake her up – part of her jaw bone had come away with her teeth and things were not looking good for Millie.  A few weeks later she had further dental work to remove the other rotten teeth.  Samples were sent off to make sure there was no underlying reason (cancer) but everything came back clear so now Millie can finally find a home of her own.

Now Millie has fully recovered she is proving to be a very delightful lady. She is great with people, good with all dogs (she is walked with two little Jack Russells and loves them). She has turned into a wonderfully, happy, confident dog who now loves life. She has been overlooked for too long and is now ready and so deserves to have a forever family of her own.

If you have children please read our section on children and hounds.

Millie has a pet passport.
