Sprout has been given her name because she was the last dog to arrive at KGR before Christmas but in a weird way she suits it. She was called Nellie is her foster home in Ireland. Sprout is a lovely little hairy lurcher (only 24 x 24) – she looks a lot bigger in her photos but she is actually a compact cute and very pretty young lady. She is very friendly, good with other dogs and she loves being out on her walks.

She is looking for active owners who are around a lot of the time or who have doggie day care solutions – lurchers are much more active than greyhounds.

Sprouty Nell has a pet passport.

If you have children please read our section on children and hounds. If you have children we would expect you to attend training classes with Sprout and your children.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
