Pearl came to us from the dog pound. She was underweight and was really shut down and scared, moving forward and a foster home and she’s a different dog.

Pearl is an affectionate cuddly girl who, once she knows you will double the love you give her in return. Sadly she has had bad experiences with humans in the past and is quite nervous to start with – but in a short space of time and when she realises you aren’t going to hurt her she is then very loving and affectionate. She is quite an emotional dog who gets attached to you. Do not be surprised to find her following you around the house (including the bathroom!)
Happy Pearl is such fun, full of beans and loves a toy (or 2, 3, 4 or more!). She gives lots of cuddles.  She does settle well and sleeps through the night.
Initially Pearl pulls on the lead due to sheer excitement but will steady as the walk progresses and adores to be out in the countryside (it’s all new and a great adventure). Happily she’s perfectly behaved with other dogs big or small.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
