Phelan is a young dog, a touch bigger than an average whippet and around 1 year old. He is an active dog and will need at least an hours walking per day, off lead, so you will need to be happy to recall train him. He is a very happy boy who loves everything and loves to know what is going on around him. He is good with other dogs and can live with them – he can probably also live with cats if you are happy to follow the guidelines. He can live with children 8+.
Please do not confuse Phelan with a small greyhound – because a small greyhound is easier than a full size one. He is a young active dog and if you do not excercise him enough his behaviour may change as he becomes bored. Phelan is amazing and we would hate him to be returned because he was adopted as an easier option to a greyhound. He is great fun, but needs an active family.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
