Racing Name: Slaneyside Riley

Riley has the happiest smile – and don’t let that little grey face fool you, she’s only 4 years old!

She loves getting out and about, and as soon as you say “walk” she does zoomies around the room. She’s also very food-oriented and absolutely loves her mealtimes (plus any treats that come her way!).

Riley is currently living happily with two other greyhounds, travels beautifully in the car, and strolls along nicely on the lead.

All of our dogs live in foster homes, which helps us get to know their personalities and find them the perfect family match.

Riley has an EU pet passport. Riley has a European pet passport so can be rehomed outside the UK so long as you can travel to us to meet and collect her (we don’t transport/deliver) and we can arrange a home check in your area.

3-3-3 rule

The “3-3-3 rule” for dogs refers to a guideline stating that it typically takes a newly adopted dog:

3 days to decompress after the change in his environment and the stress of having a new home and new owners.

3 weeks to start learning routines and bonding with their new family.

3 months to finally settle in and feel comfortable in their new home.

You can read a lot more about the 3-3-3 Rule in our blog

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
