Rodney is probably the least demanding dog that ever existed. He is absolutely no bother, so if you are looking for a dog who won’t disturb you on the work Zoom call, or is happy to be left while you go to work ….. then Rodney is the chap for you.
Rodney is a fairly big dog and totally handsome with a long and beautiful nose. He is shy until he gets to know you, but there is lots of personality there. He loves his food and does a funny dinner dance. When you arrive home, a lovely welcome is waiting. He is perfectly toilet trained. He walks well on the lead, loves his walks, and can spend hours gently squeezing a favourite toy or chewing a yak bar.
He doesn’t mind traffic at all, but very busy urban areas are less enjoyable for him. Although he is a very quiet dog, he occasionally spooks when he mistakes a rubbish bag for a lion, or a log for a crocodile, so he does need a human who is steady on their feet.
Rodney is looking for a home with a back garden (a small yard is fine) and preferably another dog of any breed to give him confidence. He will cope without another dog in more rural locations. His new owner will need to be patient for a few weeks while finds his feet. He wouldn’t enjoy a very busy home.
This really is a super dog who just wants to live the quiet life with a similar minded human.
