Roxy has totally changed in the past 4 weeks – this really brace girl has changed from hiding in the back of her kennels to wanting to go out about with the dog walkers – she loves going for walks, to the pub, the chip shop or anywhere she can enjoy herself.

When Roxy arrived at KGR she was really frightened and cried whenever anyone looked at her. It is so heart-breaking to see such a lovely dog assume that humans might not be kind to her. She is improving quickly, however, and it is clear she hasn’t given up on finding love with a special person.

Roxy is the prettiest little brindle and we can’t wait for her character to come through. One thing is sure …… the words cheeky and wriggly will feature!

Roxy will prefer to live with another dog, but could be an only dog if you are around most of the time. An adult only home will be best for this nervous girl.

We expect Roxy to be cat workable but please read our guidance on cat and dog training.

Roxy has a pet passport.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
