Shane is a lovely tall male black greyhound with a waggy tail and a big smile.  He is interested in long sofa cuddles and short adventures in the big wide world.  He had a operation on his hock recently which is  much better now, the plaster is of and he`s building up his strength, but he is still looking forward to lots of TLC.  He deserves it. He will be ready for homing shortly. He has started going for short walks to build up strength in his poorly leg and loves looking at everything in the world.  His foster mum says he is great around the house and just loves cuddles and more cuddles.

Shane has lived with greyhound girls and could do so again, he is currently in foster with another greyhound boy but he would be equally happy as an only dog getting all the attention.  As with most black boys around this age, we would expect him to be capable of being alone for around 4 -5 hours.

Shane is only 3 years old and we do hope that he will be proudly owned by a special human soon.  All he wants to do is find love and happiness.

Shane has a pet passport.

Please read our section on Covid 19 – we are regrettably still not able to rehome to all areas.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
