Spot has now been with us for a few months and he has settled into being the perfect hound.  He lives with other dogs in a foster home in Maidstone and he also live happily with a cat.  He is now totally used to being a domestic pet and is housetrained, great to walk and good in the car.

You really need to meet Spot to see why everyone who meets him falls instantly in love with him.

Spot arrived from Romania where he had no chance of finding a home.  He is just 1 year old and bursting with charm and charisma.   He is super friendly with humans and other dogs and his one aim in life is for everyone to love him so he can love everyone back.  Spot can currently be left for around 5 hours although this is with other dogs.

Spot is currently living in a foster home and he is very well behaved – he is fine with the cat but you would be expected to still follow the guidance on cat and dog introductions.

If you have children please read our section on hounds and children.  Spot can live with young children but he is clumsy and gormless and he risks knocking them over, so your children will need to be used to big dogs (and not scared of them) and you will need to be able to control the puppy/child playtime if they all get over excited.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
