Boycey is a super friendly, very pretty lurcher who was found as a stray 2 years ago and not claimed.  He has been living in a home since then but they can no longer care for him so he need a new family to love him.

He is a very happy boy and he wants to find a new, active family to take him on adventures.  He is very good around other dogs, and he adores people.    He is a saluki lurcher – so they do think differently! but for a lurcher he is super.  He sleeps all night, he loves a cuddle, he is great with other dogs and he is very sociable.

He is still only 3 years old so he still wants long walks, fun and excitement – you can take him on adventures at the weekend.  The hairy lurcher is his friend who lives with another family – but Boycey adores him.  He can live as an only dog (as he currently is) or he can live with another dog.

Lurchers are more active than greyhounds – you need to get them to training classes for recall learning and you won’t be able to work full time, unless from home.  They are much more on the go than greyhounds – although with sufficient exercise, they will be very lazy in the home.

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
