Boyce is a super friendly, very pretty lurcher who was found as a stray and not claimed. He is a very happy boy and he wants to find a new, active family to take him on adventures. He is very good around other dogs, and he adores people. He has moved into a foster home where he is really well behaved. He is a saluki lurcher – so they do think differently! but for a lurcher he is super. He sleeps all night, he loves a cuddle, he is great with other dogs and he is very sociable.
We have take him to quite a number of events and he just adores all the fuss from people.
Lurchers are more active than greyhounds – you need to get them to training classes for recall learning and you won’t be able to work full time, unless from home. They are much more on the go than greyhounds – although with sufficient exercise, they will be very lazy in the home.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
