Tilly was found on the road in January this year with a very sore paw. The lovely couple who found her took her home to foster until she got well enough to find a new home. She is a tiny little thing, about the size of a whippet (although she looks bigger than she is in the photographs). We have taken a photo of her with a few greyhounds so you can see the difference in size.

Tilly adores snuggling up on the sofa in the evening and we think she will be happy as either an only dog or to live with a placid male dog. As she is young (around 2 years old), she will need a fairly active home and her owners to take her on nice walks. But she loves just to chill out too!

Tilly is a very good-looking lurcher with lovely character and she will make a great pet. Now at KGR we do like to tell the truth about our dogs and we honestly think Tilly is a pretty girl but in the interests of giving a balanced view, we will confirm that some of our volunteers think she looks like Spit The Dog. To decide you what you think will have to meet her!

Tilley (Spit) has plently of war wounds from her previous life and you can tell she has been worked hard and not enjoyed herself. She now needs a new family who have experience of dogs, love being active and want a one-off, original lurcher to complete and enchance their world. When she is out and about she gets so much attention and everyone she meets adores her!

Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.

We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
