Turkey is a small, handsome young lurcher. He’s a very sweet, loving boy who simply wants affection and to be close to his people.

He’s already been out and about with our volunteers, where he’s shown himself to be confident, walking nicely on the lead and travelling well in the car. He’s not phased by much at all — happiest when he’s right by your side.

Please keep an eye on our socials and website for more information.

You will need to be around for most of the time to adopt a lurcher – they cannot be left for hours whilst you go to work.  You will also need a secure garden with 6 foot fences, no escape routes or launch pads.

Turkey is currently living in a foster home, but before that, he spent time in kennels, so some things may still worry or confuse him. He’ll need gentle introductions to everyday household items that could spook him and a bit of support as he adjusts to home life. With time, patience, and understanding, Turkey will blossom into a wonderful companion ready to join you on your next adventure.
