Racing Name: Cottage Brandy

Wilma is a beautiful 10-year-old greyhound who arrived with us on her 10th birthday, accompanied by her daughter, Roxie. She’s the perfect companion dog — loving, gentle, and sweet.

Wilma is a quiet girl who simply wants a peaceful life. She enjoys pottering around the garden before settling down for a well-earned snooze. She’s currently getting used to home life.

Both Wilma and Roxie are living together in a foster home, where they’re enjoying all the home comforts they deserve.

Wilma would make a lovely, gentle addition to a quiet home — the kind of dog who just wants love, company, and a comfy spot to relax.

Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to see where to goes to when she starts her adventures.

Wilma is currently living in a foster home, but before that, she spent time in kennels, so some things may still worry or confuse her. She’ll need gentle introductions to everyday household items that could spook her and a bit of support as she adjusts to home life. With time, patience, and understanding, Wilma will blossom into a wonderful companion ready to join you on your next adventure.

The “3-3-3 rule” for dogs refers to a guideline stating that it typically takes a newly adopted dog:

3 days to decompress after the change in his environment and the stress of having a new home and new owners.

3 weeks to start learning routines and bonding with their new family.

3 months to finally settle in and feel comfortable in their new home.

Wilma has a European pet passport so can be rehomed outside the UK so long as you can travel to us to meet and collect her (we don’t transport/deliver) and we can arrange a home check in your area.

When you submit an application form you will get an auto generated email straight back. This email outlines the next steps. We don’t process the applications until we receive your reply so please check your junk email. We use an automation platform to send emails, the email will be rejected. If you don’t receive anything from us as soon as you press submit – please let us know.
