Locations where Steve can be rehomed – Kent, South Hertfordshire, London, Sussex, Surrey, Essex.
Steve is a young greyhound who has never raced. He has just turned 3 years old but we still class him as a young, cat workable dog. He lacks confidence but is so sweet and just adores his humans so much he would like them to be around a lot. He would also benefit with the company of another confident dog.
Steve cannot be rehomed to families with children under 14.
He is currently living in a foster home with a cat and we feel that if you follow our guidance on cat and dog training – Steve will be able to live with cats.
Steve needs confident owners – he will pick up on any anxious behaviour in the home and worry for you. He needs a calm home with routine.
During the national lockdown announced Jan 3rd 2021, we have to follow very strict government guidelines. Please read our Covid statement and please do not apply if you are not in one of the areas. Once the national rules are relaxed – ours will follow and we will be able to widen our rehoming area. You can read the full statement here it is updated regularly as the rules change – this statement may not be.
If you have children please read our page on children and dogs. We are unable to rehome to families with children under 10 as our dogs are not assessed and have rarely lived in a home before they arrive with us.
If you are interested in younger dogs or cat workable dogs (3 and under) please read our blog for more information.
Please make sure you are in a position to adopt a dog, before completing the online adoption form. We are unable to hold onto dogs for more than a few days, once you have passed your homecheck.
We do rehome throughout the UK, so long as you are prepared to travel to meet the dog within a few days of applying for him and then again to adopt him, once you have passed your homecheck.
